The DDD-100 is a fully-instrumented diamond disc characterization device.

For research and development applications, the DDD – 100 allows disc suppliers to rapidly assess the effect of new conditioner design parameters (i.e. diamond grouping, geometric arrays and patterns, size and morphology of the diamonds, total number of diamonds and overall disc topography and planarity) on various types of pad (or pad substitute) surfaces at various down forces and velocities.

For quality control applications in high volume, the DDD – 100 allows disc suppliers to rapidly (i.e. in the order of 20 seconds) and cost-effectively assess disc-to-disc performance variability prior to shipping their products to end-users.
